This evening’s ride going off as per usual, w a diff route over the LGB to W Van and the lower levels NW Marine Dr w some stops along the way to pick those blackberries that are goin off right now like gangbusterrrrrs. So fill your jersey pkts w your extra water btls (call em bidons if ya like 🤷🏼‍♀️) and strap up your bar bags & your seat bags for hauling a bit o extra [FRUITY] cargo!! AAAAAND we’ll be hustlin back to downtown to make it for last call at @musettecaffebar to take advantage of their new *extended open evening hours* til 9p, and enjoy a glass o vino - or whatever, pick your poison. my cockpit really turns my cranks out for a casual sunrise roll on my not so casual commuter and you know what else? if you know me at all, you’ll already know I love supporting local business and beautiful humans, people with integrity and passion and heart. people who love like I do, with their everything. after tagging everyone and everything represented in this photo, I realise how hyper-local it all is - and personal! it just so happens that most of them have stuck their neck out or lent a hand to give me a leg up. I am so grateful to be supported by these businesses & this community of folks in my projects & endeavours & shenanigans - it WARMS MY FKN HEART SO and gets me SUPER FKN JAZZED. it really can seem like a real struggle making connections & building community while pushing forward in commerce & enterprise, and even when just building a lil bike team, but immersing oneself in the company of only the finest of folks, out of respect for their commitment & integrity, is a surefire way to forge those bridges - and poof! suddenly, there it is!
