dig into the issues in those fired up tissues! this is intended to be a post-ride / post-workout session, when your muscles & ligatures are feeling juiced up. get your butt onto a mat after your Sunday group ride - show up in bibs directly off your ride, or show up fresh off a shower in your yoga style attire, your choice - just SHOW UP.  there are few things you can do short of sex, drugs, alcohol and transcendental enlightenment, that will feel as good as a deep session of stretch directly after a deep session in the pain cave.

and DO BRING YOUR CORE - cuz we will be workin it.
without core, we are NOTHING (but a floppy  bag-o-bones pile of imbalance-weakness-misalignment leading to dangerously bad posture and imminent back problems ie. injury waiting to happen).

you are welcome to bring refreshments and snax to indulge in before and/or after class to boost your blood sugar to safe operable levels, and linger post-yoga while we chill n chat. don't want anyone getting hangry.

classes are based in the Kensington neighbourhood of East Van, in the vicinity of Trout Lake.

BETTER TOGETHER, that is

RESILIENT RECOVERY: you work and train and train and work and get stronger and stronger and faster and stronger and... tired and stiff! work some EASE, space and COMFORT into your into your training schedule - bring suppleness into your structure to foster resiliency and ward off injury by supporting your body with a practice that will help it to bend and not break when you push it to its limits. 

Yeah you guessed it, we are talking YOGA.

YES, YOGA. Call it whatever you like, but we guarantee it will bring relief to your recovery and strength to your core - and more power to your output.

With strong & steady attention to alignment, we will focus on the big stuff - quads, glutes, hammys, hips - and the stuff we tend to forget - feet, shoulders, neck, chest - and last but certainly not least, the stuff we know we should do but rarely seem to - CORE STRENGTH and posture - for an all-over wringing out and reset. The postures and practice in these sessions will, over time, build new habits that foster improved proprioception (fancy word for body awareness) and - here's this word again - resiliency!!

thurs eve midweek therapy / weekend prep

dare we say... intimate. smaller personal classes, with opportunities for adjustments, one on one feedback, and the chance for those in attendance to contribute to the shape & flow of the class, catering it to their specific needs.

exclusive classes for your cycling club or team, generally catered to the needs of the organisation's members, and specifically catered to the immediate needs of those in attendance. together we'll formulate a series of classes and a format that will suit the demand, costing will reflect the program's structure and intensity.
